Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, often known as Ashanti, was born on 13 October of 1980, in Glen Cove New York United States. Ashanti is a United States singer, songwriter and actress. Ashanti began her career when she was a teenager she was signed by Murder Inc. Records by 2002. That same year she appeared as a guest on The Fat Joe's What's Luv? the song "What's love?" by Fat Joe as well as Ja Rule's "It's Always" on Time were both huge hits. The first female artist to hold the first and second spots within the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at number one and Luv? at number two. Luv? It was the first female artist to hold both the Top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 in America, with Foolish at number one and What's Love? Let's celebrate the special occasion by celebrating it together. Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, also known as Ashanti was born in Glen Cove New York on the 13th of October, 1980. Tina Douglas is the mother of Ashanti. Ken Kaide Douglas happens to be the father. The oldest of the three is Kenashia Shia Douglas is her younger sister. Ashanti has released her debut self-titled album in 2002 on Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. label. The Declaration is her fourth studio album was released in June 2008 Hey Baby (After The Club) came out on radio stations and digital platforms on the 16th of October. She was in the film Christmas in the City and played Latasha Montclair on Army Wives. Aitch has sampled Rock wit U in his Baby 10th March 2022 song.
